Fuel Price drop..What about food price?...What to do?...

On June 2008, Malaysian had been shocked by the increment of the fuel price as mush as RM 0.78 for petrol and RM 1 for diesel. The act had been taken by the government in order to reduce the subsidy than been provided by the government as the global fuel price increase.

Until October 2008, the fuel price had been reduce for three times and until 26 October, the fuel price in Malaysia is Rm 2.30.

On June 2008, the Malaysian citizen had suffered a lot of problem other than fuel price burden but also food price and other essential items price increment. The supplier had given the reason of the increment as a result of the increment of fuel price.

But, until today...the food price is still hiking and remain same as in June although the fuel price already reduces...

According to the Department of Statistics Malaysia, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) until September 2008, had increased to 5.2% from January to September 2008. The increment shows how bad is the effect of fuel hike to Malaysian citizens daily life.

What actually happen here?..is it really true that the fuel price controlling other items prices?...What can government do?...

Fuel price always be a reason for the items price increment, but when fuel price drop...nobody bother to revise the price...

Actually, there is nothing that government can do...

No way to force peoples to sell items cheaper...

The only thing that we can do is...BOYCOTT the stinky seller...

Do buy your groceries at hypermarket that give low price instead of buying at groceries shop...

There is nothing that government can do by using diplomatic action...Only law and force can change this...

This trend will keep remain even though the fuel price is reaching RM 1 per liter...
